FAM Freezer Ministry

The FAM Freezer ministry provides meals to those families who are hosting children through Safe Families and Foster and Adoptive families while their Promise Care Groups are being established. Meals are also sent home with children when they are reunited with their families.
FAM Freezer Sunday is the second Sunday of the month. We accept several type of meal options. Homemade entrees should include the cook’s name and contact information, and the date it was made, and the recipe, so we can share the ingredients with families. We also accept frozen entrees from the grocery store, gift cards for any local restaurant, or meals from any of our local businesses like Supper at Home (https://supperathomeyall.com/) and Sloppy Pig Catering (https://www.facebook.com/Sloppy-Pig-Catering-910638348978805/). These items can brought to church on the second Sunday of the month. Volunteers or carts will be at the entrances to accept the meals.

Annual FAM Appreciation Luncheon

Every year in November, FAM hosts a luncheon for those who work with at risk children and families in our community. This includes Department of Family and Children’s Services, Court Appointed Special Advocates, Troup County School System Counselors, West Georgia Counseling, Circles, Juvenile Court and many more. The luncheon provides encouragement to those working with families in crises.
