Are you wondering how you will survive the weeks surrounding Thanksgiving and Christmas? Are you dreading these holidays, knowing that everything has changed and that happy memories from past years can’t be recreated?
GriefShare’s Surviving the Holidays seminar is especially for people who are grieving a loved one’s death. In this seminar, you will learn:
- How to deal with the many emotions you’ll face during the holidays
- What to do about traditions and other coming changes
- Helpful tips for surviving social events
- How to discover hope for your future
GriefShare ministers to people who are grieving the death of a loved one or friend. GriefShare is specifically designed for people who have experienced the loss of a loved one or friend through death. Other losses, such as the loss of a job, the death of a pet, divorce, and similar major life events, while significant, are not the focus of GriefShare. If you are looking for support because of separation or divorce, we offer DivorceCare ministry. Most churches do a wonderful job of caring for grieving people in the immediate days surrounding death and the funeral. GriefShare is designed to extend ministry into the long months that follow.
Our GriefShare meets on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. For your convenience, join us for our church supper from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. for $5 each. You can begin attending a group at any session. Each one is self-contained, and you don’t have to attend them in sequence. While you are attending GriefShare, we have great ministries for Preschoolers, Children, and Students that will guide them toward a stronger relationship with the Lord.
