Want to pack a shoebox but don’t want to go to the store? Buy a Box in a Bag.
A Box in a Bag contains a bag, a box, and items to include. It will have everything you need to fill a shoebox, that you can pick up in a bag. We can build the box for you or we can give you the supplies and let you build it yourself. A Box in a Bag is $25. You can bring cash or check by to the Church Office. Shoebox Sunday is November 13!
Everyone can bring their filled shoeboxes. We will also have opportunities after the 11:00 service to take shoeboxes to the New Life Building.
Shoebox Collection Week is November 14-21.
We process the boxes from our community for shipping to the distribution center in Atlanta. In October we will have a form where volunteers can sign up for a time slot to assist with that.

First Baptist Receives Plaque Recognizing Five Years as a Drop-off Location!
On August 17, 2022, Cathy Driver, Area Coordinator of Operation Christmas Child’s Chattahoochee Valley Team, awarded a plaque recognizing our five years of service as a drop-off location. Our OCC leaders Barbara Nivens (seated) and Cerie Godfrey (standing on left) accepted the award that expressed gratitude to our OCC leaders and to First Baptist, which has processed 14,537 shoeboxes in the last five years.
