Respite Care During Worship
We are honored to provide a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for children with special needs during our 11:00 AM worship service. Our Respite Care Room—located on the third floor of the Children’s Building in Room 1300—is thoughtfully designed to meet the unique needs of each child while offering parents and caregivers a time to worship with peace of mind. Supportive volunteers with a heart for children with special needs offer individualized attention and engaging activities in a calm, sensory-friendly space.

To help us care well for your child, we ask that families complete a Special Needs Intake Form before attending.

Parking, Entrance, and Drop-Off Information
As a downtown church, we recognize that parking can sometimes be limited, and we’re so grateful for your understanding and flexibility as you navigate arrival and drop-off. To access the Respite Care Room on the third floor (Room 1300), families are welcome to use any of the following entrances:

• Haralson Street Entrance (Covered Parking Drop-Off): From Haralson Street, drive around to the back of the church building to access our covered parking area. This is a convenient spot for families to drop off a child along with a parent, spouse, or guardian who will walk with them inside to the Respite Care Room. From this entrance, it’s a straight hallway to the elevator that takes you to the third floor.

• Broad Street Entrance (Children’s Center Entrance): Located across from the parking garage behind the Marriott, this entrance is marked by a long sidewalk leading up to a glass entryway with “Children’s Center” posted above the doors. It opens directly into the Children’s Check-In Lobby, where you’ll find an elevator to the third floor. This is another good option for walking in with your child before parking.

• Church Street Entrance (Welcome Center): This entrance leads into the Welcome Center Lobby. Upon entering, the elevator is just a short hallway walk to the right and will take you directly to the third floor.
