Scripture – The Bible
The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s inerrant, infallible written revelation of Himself to man. It is the sole authority for faith and living for the believer. All Scripture is a testimony to Christ, who is Himself the focus of divine revelation.
God
There is one and only one living and true God Who reveals Himself in Three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Humanity
Human beings are the special creation of God, made in His own image, fallen by sin, saved by the grace of God through Faith in Jesus Christ alone, filled with the Holy Spirit from the moment of salvation to be empowered to live in a way that honors God.
Salvation
God alone provides for the salvation for all through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. All who surrender to Jesus as Lord or Master receive salvation by God’s grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ, and are immediately filled with the Holy Spirit.
Ordinances
Baptism
Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit as an act of obedience that symbolizes the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. It is a testimony to his faith in the final resurrection of the dead. Being a church ordinance, it is prerequisite to the privileges of church membership and to the Lord’s Supper. There is only one baptism (Ephesians 4:4-5).
Lord’s Supper
The Lord’s Supper (also known as Communion, Eucharist, Last Supper) is a symbolic act of obedience in which believers partake of the bread and the fruit of the vine, that memorialize body and blood of Jesus sacrificed for believers, and that anticipate His second coming.
Last Things
Jesus will return visibly in glory to earth in God’s own timing, and no one except God the Father knows when this time will be. At the end, the dead will be raised, and Jesus will judge all people. Those who are saved through grace will inherit eternal life in their resurrected, glorified bodies and dwell in the presence of God forever; all others will be consigned to Hell, the place of eternal punishment.
Evangelism and Missions
It is the duty and privilege of every follower of Christ and of every church of the Lord Jesus Christ to make disciples of all nations through intentional and purposeful living in Christ. All believers should share the gospel and their personal testimonies at every occasion, and teach new believers how to make disciples of others.
Stewardship
Since God is the source of all blessings, both material and spiritual, Christians are expected to contribute to the work and ministry of the local church through material and personal giving.
Family
God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. It is composed of persons related to one another by marriage, blood, or adoption. Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime.
