Leader: Beth Stewart

When: Mondays, 10:00 a.m., starting Jan. 22
Where: Room 1000
Book: In His Image: 10 Ways God Calls Us to Reflect His Character

Sometimes we ask What is God’s will for my life? When we should really be asking Who should I be? The Bible has an answer: be like the very image of God. By exploring ten characteristics of who God is, this book helps us understand who God intends for us to be. We will discover how God’s own attributes impact how we live, leading to freedom and purpose as we follow his will and are conformed to his image. Participants should purchase the book and workbook for this study. During times together participants will discuss the book and workbook responses.

Two little words—like “work layoffs,” “treatment options,” “family trouble”—are sometimes all it takes to throw life off balance. But God has a two-word response: heaven rules! He’s in charge amid any crisis, conflict, or care. Using the book of Daniel, Wolgemuth demonstrates how to allow peace to reign by taking refuge in the Lord.

While often overlooked, the book of Jude remains as relevant today as the time it was written. God has commanded His beloved church to do the necessary work of contending for the faith in a world of unbelief, and as we do, He will keep us from falling into the same deception. In this 7-session study from Jackie Hill Perry, dive into themes of being called, loved, and kept, and learn how to point others to Jesus ingrace and truth.
